Miss & Master Patriotic Colorado Pageant

EVERY CONTESTANT WILL RECEIVE AN ENGRAVED BRONZE MEDALLION!!!

Girls Age Groups:

0-11 mo:  Infant Miss                                                   7-9 yrs:  Little Miss

12-23 mo:  Baby Miss                                                   10-12 yrs:  Pre-Teen Miss

2-3 yrs:  Toddler Miss                                                  13-15 yrs:  Jr. Miss

4-6 yrs:  Tiny Miss                                                       16-23 yrs:  Miss/Ms.

Boys Age Groups:

0-3 yrs:  Tiny Master

4-6 yrs:  Little Master

*Contestants will compete in the category of their age on June 26, 2010*

*No make-up allowed on contestants 12 years of age and younger*

p  Entry Fee - $100 (ACTIVE DUTY & RETIRED MILITARY FAMILIES RECEIVE 1/2 OFF THEIR ENTRY FEE.  IF YOU ARE ENTERING MORE THAN ONE CHILD TAKE 1/2 OFF EACH ADDITIONAL ENTRY FEE)

Casual Patriotic Wear Competition & Introduction (50%) – An outfit of contestant’s choice with an emphasis on a patriotic theme, i.e. Red, White & Blue.  An example would be an outfit you would wear out for a day with your friends (30%).  Ages 4 and up will give an on-stage introduction not to exceed 30 seconds (20%).  3 years old and below will be judged at 50% in Casual Wear since they will not have an introduction.

Formal Wear (50%) – Age appropriate gowns (girls) and suits/tux (boys) are required, see website for suggestions.  Personality winner will be selected based on stage presence and personality in both casual wear and formal wear.

"Off the Rack" patriotic outfits and gowns are encouraged to keep in the spirit with the purpose of the pageant and to promote more of a natural pageant.

Additional Competitions:

p   Photogenic - $25:  No larger than a 5x7 photo (black/white or color).

p     Coloring contest (Ages 2-6) - $25:  Coloring sheet provided on www.misspatrioticcolorado.com.

p   Creative Drawing contest (Ages 7-9) - $25:  1 page drawing on why you are proud to be an American.

p   Essay (Ages 10 and up) - $25:  1 page, typed or clearly handwritten, on why you are proud to be an American.

p     Ticket Sales - Award given to most tickets sold.  Ticket cost is $5, 2 years old and under are admitted free, and one complimentary ticket is included in entry fee.

p  Fundraiser - Award given to one contestant raising the most money for Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.  Donations made for this award are tax deductible and checks should be made payable to “Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund”.
